Celebs recount Shroom Highs on New Netflix Show “Have a Good Trip”

What do A$AP Rocky, Ben Stiller, Nick Kroll, Sarah Silverman and Sting have in common? They’ve all tried acid and shrooms. In “Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics”, celebrities speak about their experiences with mushrooms and LSD to counteract the built-up fears about psychotropic drugs. Over the documentary, each offer up their own tips on how to use them better and what to avoid, like looking in the mirror. Although, some celebrities might disagree with that one (no spoilers!).

Misinformation and What to Expect

The documentary is meant to educate viewers on the negatives and highlight the positives of psychotropic drugs. It doesn’t always lead to death, as many of us are taught to believe. Almost every single experience talked about had some kind of positive connection with nature and the outdoors. The common message of ‘feeling connected with everything’ is most definitely repeated across the film.

The stories are accompanied by cartoonish illustrations or re-enactments by actors, totally suited to the storytelling by the celebrity.

Two celebrities highlighted in the film are no longer with us: Anthony Bourdain and Carrie Fisher – both for who the film is dedicated, have their own hilarious stories about tripping on psychotropic drugs.
